Take The Test With You Or Before You Go!During this last week, travel for Canadians has gotten vastly easier since the onset of the pandemic in March 2020.
A few days ago, the federal government announced the lifting of the global travel advisory against non-essential travel, which has had a positive ripple-affect with improved travel insurance coverage and more flights to serve the new demand. On the same day, Prime Minister Trudeau provided details of the vaccine-passport that can be used internationally as proof of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Beginning October 30, 2021, proof of vaccination will be required to board a flight, train or ship in Canada and to enter into some countries. For a full list of country entry requirements, please check here.

The kit includes it's own mini-lab providing results in less than 45 minutes! If that wasn't good news in itself, the test also only requires a shallow swab, unlike it's Covid-19 test predecessors.
United States Entry Requirements: Along with some other countries,all travellers entering the United States by air require proof a negative Antigen Covid-19 test before boarding their flight. For fully-vaccinated travellers, the viral test must be conducted on a sample taken no more than 3 days before the flight’s departure and no more than 1 day before the flight’s departure from a foreign country if you do not show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Canada Re-Entry Requirements: All travellers 5 years of age or older, regardless of citizenship or vaccination status, must provide proof of a COVID-19 negative molecular test result to enter Canada within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time of your flight to Canada. Finding a clinic to perform this test at your travel destination can sometimes be laborious in itself, however, you can now bring your own test with you, and perform it right in your hotel room. As long as you have internet connection with a device that has a camera, you're good to go.
