Breaking Travel News Ottawa Lifts Non-Essential Travel Advisory For Fully Vaccinated Canadians Effective immediately, the federal government of Canada has lifted the non-essential travel advisory for fully vaccinated travellers. The previous guideline has been in place since March 2020 when the pandemic began and advised all travellers, regardless of vaccination status, to avoid non-essential international travel. In a statement, the Public Health Agency of Canada said Canadians should be fully vaccinated before they travel and to continue to follow public health measures at their destination such as wearing a face mask, washing their hands and maintaining physical distancing where possible.
